Our Services
At Prevention Path Education, we partner with schools to make prevention practical. From in-classroom lessons to staff and parent training, we help schools create safer, healthier environments for students.
Student Education: In-Classroom Trainings
We offer engaging, age-appropriate trainings for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, using evidence-based resources like Sandy Hook Promise alongside other proven tools to teach safety, emotional wellness, and prevention skills. Students learn how to recognize warning signs in themselves and others, seek help when needed, and build a culture of connection and care in their classrooms.
Parent Workshops
Parents and caregivers are essential partners in prevention. We provide workshops that guide parents in recognizing signs of distress, understanding how to talk with their children about mental health and safety, and working effectively with schools if concerns arise.
Administrative Planning & Collaboration
We collaborate with administrators to create customized yearly plans for implementing safety and wellness tools throughout the school year—or even the remainder of the year—to ensure your prevention efforts are sustainable and aligned with your school’s needs.
Teacher & Staff Training
We equip educators with practical skills to recognize signs of distress, open conversations with students, and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues when concerns arise. Our trainings help teachers feel more confident and prepared to support student mental health while maintaining a safe, connected classroom environment.
Train-the-Trainer Programs
Interested in sustainability? We offer train-the-trainer courses for teachers and staff, allowing your school to continue delivering prevention education and safety training internally year-round.
And More
Prevention Path Education also provides general mental health education and wellness programming for teachers, parents, and students. Whether it’s developing a mental health literacy series for your staff, hosting parent Q&A nights, facilitating student wellness workshops, or providing support in the aftermath of a traumatic event, we work with your school community to build a culture of prevention that supports every child.
